AEDM Day 17 … A mess, I confess…

Ever wonder what the inside of a creative person's head looks like? I think it must look like our space where we create whether it's a studio or a corner reserved for that purpose. So today, as I glanced into my studio, I cringed to think that the inside of my head might look like this....100_1900 or this...100_1903 or this...100_1904 This is the result of endless days of single-mindedly working on my book so I think the next few hours are going to be devoted to a bit of a clean-up so I can once again concentrate when I get down to it!! 100_1902 At least my collection of antique irons which I use as weights when collaging are all lined up and ready to go....sigh....

It just shows that you are having fun, getting work done, and being creative! I do that when I’m in the middle of something, but then, like you, I need to clean it up for a fresh start. I think it’s fun to see others
    creative work spaces! 🙂

I have ONE antique iron and never thought to use it to weigh down my collages before. Very clever.

I’m in the beginning stages of purging and putting things away in my basement studio. I got a bunch of JUNK from a friend after I helped clean her garage. Putting the stuff away became a chore, especially with November looming in the distance, so I’ll be sharing my clean up soon.

Loved the glimpse of your creative space. Can so relate. What a great idea for using the iron as a paperweight for collage.
