AEDM Day 8 Pottery, paint and pizza….

My grandchildren, Madison and Paul, came to the pottery studio with me a few times. The first time, they made whistles and the last time, they made some boxes while they were there. After the boxes were bisque fired, I brought them home because they wanted to paint them with acrylics instead of glazing them. Last night they were staying at our house so they got a chance to paint their boxes in my studio... after which we had pizza and watched college football. Life is good.... 100_1863 100_1864 100_1866

Great project and wonderful work to get your grandchildren to be creative. And I am sure you all enjoyed the time together.

Look at how acutely intense they are. They seem to be enjoying their painting time, too. Great boxes. I’m sure they will put them to good use.

What great memories you are creating with your grandchildren. They will remember them their whole lives. My grandma just died in 2011 and I have a lifetime of wonderful memories of her, that I carry with me everyday. <3
