AEDM Day 1….Just for fun…

These little mugs were my first attempt at mug making so I really went whimsical with the design. If nothing else, they look cute sitting on a shelf and are good conversation starters!! 100_1807100_1809100_1810Right now I am concentrating on getting better at mug and cup making so I can make them thinner and lighter. Also working on making better handles as that's a whole different process!! There are endless ways that one can decorate a cup or mug so I can let my muse have free reign when it comes to the finished look of these vessels.

Love the mugs, tried to think of a suitable mug pun, but failed!
Oh well, I may come up with something by the end of AEDM 🙂

I couldn’t wait to visit because I knew you had signed up for this. I’ve seen your weekly art, but have not had time to click through. This month will be all about getting back to visiting friends I’ve lost track of, like you. Yes, I was thinking of you yesterday and hoping you would be playing.

I simply adore these mugs. I suspect making a consistent handle might be hard, but I really like the versatility of the ones you have created so far. I’ll see you tomorrow!
