So… to say that I my “creative” life has been on hold lately would be an under statement. But I just wanted to let you all know that I have been painting. Helping the kids paint their new house has been fun and of course tiring. But I have really been enjoying the challenge of a big project as it’s been years since I had to do any home renovations and I forgot how much I enjoy seeing a project come together and the feeling of pride you get at a job well done at the end of a long day.   My son and his wife are working hard at it while holding down their full-time jobs and I know they will be happy to get to the point where they can move in and start to enjoy their new surroundings on 58 acres of lush woodlands. On any given day, you can look out their windows and see beautiful deer and lots of wild turkeys roaming around through the woods. Who wouldn’t want to wake up to that each day? At any rate, it is all coming together and I’m enjoying the process!
